We can provide advice to anyone considering importing or exporting for either private or business use. We are your ideal first contact to give you an understanding of the process and possible costs if this is a new venture for you.
We can price to export freight from NZ to any overseas destination and to import freight from any overseas destination to NZ. For both air and sea freight and provide a door to door service including insurance if required.
Imported goods may be subject to Customs duty. We will ensure any duty concessions are claimed. If there are no current concessions we can provide advice regarding possibly obtaining a duty concession.
Clearing goods through Customs requires knowledge of tariff classification, duty rates and other related charges. We can assist importers with advice of possible costs and the documents required to allow the prompt clearance of goods. Early presentation of the correct documents will help to avoid additional costs. Aorangi Customs & Freight will complete the NZ Customs entry process including Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and arrange for any MPI inspection. Once all releases are in place we will arrange for onward delivery to the final destination. It is our intention to make the process as simple as possible for our clients.
